too busy to keep up....

Looks like my attempt to start a blog has not been too fabulous. Only one post since I started doesn't look too promising! :) Maybe now that school is almost over and our "normal lives" will be starting soon, I just might be able to keep up. I take my final nursing test on Monday and I'm counting down the minutes until I can say I'm officially a GPN. (Graduate Practical Nurse) It has been a very busy year and I can honestly say that I have no idea how I finished, with a passing grade that is! :) As for my fabulous husband and I, we will be moving down to Texas at the end of May. Technically Ernie is already down there holding down the fort until I get there. I was able to drive down there with him about a week and a half ago. We were able to find a humble little apartment and attempt to start to feel at home. I flew back on Sunday and am now also counting down the days till I get to drive all the way back down there and be with him! I really am so excited! I will definitely miss all my wonderful family back here, but I look forward to finally starting my life with my loving husband! Look out Lonestar State... here we come!!!

First step=marriage Second step=start a blog!

After Ernie and I were married, my friends that tied the knot before me (which was a large majority) insisted that I start a blog of my new family. Everyone continued to inform me that "It's the married thing to do." I'm not so creative and cutesy like most women, so this could end up being quite the experience for me! :) So here's attempt #1 at this blogging thing...

Ernie and I were married on December 23, 2009 in the Draper Utah Temple. It was a freezing cold day, yet totally perfect! Ernie is currently in the US Army pursuing his goals and attempting to save the world! :) He is stationed in Fort Huachuca, Arizona for now, but will soon get his orders and we will be heading somewhere new! As for me, I am currently at Western Wyoming Community College in Rock Springs. I am pursuing my goals to be a nurse and attempting to save a life! :) It's been a rocky road for us considering we have seen each other a total of 25 days in the last 7 months. We are pushing on through these hard times however, and cannot wait to be together again in June! We hope he is stationed somewhere that I can move to also, so keep us in your prayers! I stay pretty busy with nursing school, which could mean very few updated posts. But for all of the newlyweds out there...here's to the second step in life....starting a blog! :)
